GP Practices across the Tees Valley have extended their opening hours throughout the bank holiday weekend. They will now remain open over the Easter period to help alleviate the strain on NHS with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. The ‘triage’ process of online or telephone consultations to assess the patients need will still in be in place. Patients are still being asked not to go into their GP practice for any reason before speaking to their practice over the phone and agreeing a face-to-face appointment.
