Abingdon Primary School in Middlesbrough has refreshed its school of sanctuary status by having a professional development day. Abingdon Primary was the first school in the North East to achieve SoS status but over the years there have been many staff changes. Headteacher Adam Cooper is a passionate believer in Abingdon School being a place of sanctuary for all children and their families.
